In line with the celebrations for the upcoming International Coffee Day, Sandbox Creatives is thrilled to present Comakase (Coffee Omakase) – a one-of-a-kind coffee tasting event in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Coffee Expert and Specialty Coffee world champion Mariam Erin.
The striking yet minimalist design and identity is a product of coffee-fueled collaboration between creative comrades – our founder/ storybrand strategist Kristine Abante and Mark Ganzon, Multi-talented visual artist at Vizfolk.
Comakase is designed for coffee enthusiasts who are ready to explore and savor a series of rare, hand-picked brews. Each cup will be a surprise, meticulously crafted by Erin, as she takes guests on a sensory exploration of unique flavor profiles, rare beans, and artisanal roasts.
Inspired by the Japanese dining tradition of Omakase, where guests leave the selection of dishes to the chef, Comakase invites attendees to entrust their coffee experience to Erin’s expert palate and curation.
A series of small servings or courses of aromatic caffeine delight that offers to expand ones brewing journey through five cups of a well-curated cuppa sessions.
Mariam Erin is a celebrated coffee professional and the 2021 UAE Brewers Cup Champion, known for her mastery in blending coffee with artistry. Originally from Quezon Province, Philippines, Mariam’s journey into coffee began in 2018, after working in food technology. Her background in science and art has uniquely shaped her approach to coffee, which she sees as both a craft and a canvas for expression.
